Refresh WordPress Plugins

Refresh all installed plugins of a wordpress installation.

Usage:

  1. Get a backup of your wordpress installation
  2. Download the shell-script, unzip it and make it executable (chmod u+x wp-plugin-refresh.sh)
  3. Set WP-Root (‘wproot‘) at the top of the script to the root path of your wordpress installation
  4. Run the shell-script ./wp-plugin-refresh.sh

Notes

  • The script refreshs every installed plugin. It does not check, if it is a new version, so you should run it manually only on demand.
  • The script makes a backup of all ‘refreshed’ plugins to [wproot]/wp-contents/plugins.
